Process Chemistry in the Pharmaceutical Industry with Special Emphasis on Continuous Manufacturing |
| Course Code: PRPROC |
This conference has always endeavored to cover both the state-of-the-art industry practice of process chemistry and important novel methodologies that will impact process R&D capabilities in the near future.
This year, the 8th annual “Process Chemistry in the Pharmaceutical Industry” conference, chaired by Vittorio Farina of Johnson & Johnson, Mo Movassaghi of MIT, will again feature noted academic and industry speakers to accomplish this objective, but in addition, a special program on continuous manufacturing has been arranged by James Evans of the Novartis-MIT Center for Continuous Manufacturing and Kevin Bittorf of Vertex.
Two optional half-day short courses will be offered on Monday, Nov 2 from 8 AM – 12 PM. Donna Blackmond of Imperial College in London will teach on kinetics, and Allan Myerson of IIT will teach on continuous crystallization. |
